70 x 70 cm - Oil on canvas

Original Oil on Canvas | Dorian Radu RMS

An elegant and subtly playful tribute to British royalty, Loyalty for Royalty brings together the timeless dignity of Queen Elizabeth II and the affectionate companionship of her beloved corgis.

At the heart of the composition, the late monarch is portrayed as a finely rendered classical marble bust, crowned and draped in regal attire. Beside her, a vividly lifelike corgi gazes upwards with an expression of unwavering devotion, creating a touching contrast between the formality of royal tradition and the warmth of a deeply personal bond.

The juxtaposition of monochromatic sculpture and richly coloured realism lends the painting a distinctive contemporary character. Through its restrained palette, meticulous detailing and masterful treatment of light and texture, Dorian Radu creates a sophisticated dialogue between grandeur and intimacy, permanence and affection.

Beyond its celebration of an iconic British figure, Loyalty for Royalty explores the enduring nature of devotion and companionship, revealing a tender, human dimension beneath the symbolism of monarchy.

A distinguished original artwork combining classical refinement, contemporary imagination and a heartfelt celebration of loyalty, heritage and timeless affection.
